Why it Didn't Work

After everyone had shot off their cannons, or should I say tried to shoot off their cannons, no group was successful. Much consideration went into this idea, for my group was able to discover that last year all but two cannons were successful in shooting. Doing research about that day, I was able to find that there was one major aspect which was different between that day and the day our class shot off our cannons. The temperature of the day was a lot warmer because last year the class was able to shoot their cannons off in a concealed area. Based upon some of the gas laws temperature is a variable which can affect the outcome of a chemical reaction. Over all I believe that when I our class rebuilds our cannons in April we will have better results for the weather should be a lot warmer.

  1. Great job on your analysis. I think you should also add that according to Charles Law, temperature and pressure are directly probortional, so as temperature decreases, pressure decreases as well.

  2. It looks good, but you might want to include some future ideas and modifications for your next cannon design. Also including the specific law, like Tala said, would be good.
